Mountain biking tours ThailandRural Southern Thailand Offroad Mountain Biking Tours

Our mission is to inspire people to travel by mountain bike in order to explore the rural regions of Southern Thailand, meet the locals, enjoy the fresh air and of course, to discover themselves. Our cycling routes are mostly offroad, not on paved roads. Anyone can get a map and find a way from point 'A' to point 'B'. Linking long routes together on trails requires a lot of research. This is what we do and this is part of what separates us from the rest and this is what we offer you.

Thailand mountain biking holidaysSouthern Thailand mountain biking is still somewhat in it infancy. There is so much to explore that it would take a lifetime just to scratch the surface.

Plus, there is a lot of wonderfully different terrain to explore by mountain bike in southern Thailand. Although Thailand has been in the mass tourism spotlight for quite some time, there are still plenty of places to cycle and not see any of the downsides that tourism can bring to a region. In other words, there are still plenty of places near the over-developed places that are very worth visiting. That's where we'll take you. That's where you'll still be able to experience the world-famous Thai hospitality, authentic Thai food, the tropical jungle and verdant farmland.

Smiles and waves are plentiful as you cycle through rural Thailand. You will soon figure out why Thailand is called the "Land of Smiles". Bring your camera so you can share your experiences with your loved ones back home and so you can remember how much fun it was traveling by bike through the wonderland that is Southern Thailand.

Southern Thailand single track trailsMountain Biking in Phang Nga Province

By simply slipping crossing the Sarasin Bride, the mainland bridge to Phuket Island, you enter rural Thailand. It is here that you can experience the not-so-distant cultures of the past. Although most of the land has been clear-cut and replaced with rubber plantations, oil palm plantations and some other agricultural plantings, this makes for terrific mountain biking. Rubber plantations offer nice single-track trails and shade. Oil palm plantations don’t offer as much shade, but they’re still a great place to go biking as they tend to have nice well-kept trails.

No experience is needed for our standard half-day and full-day trips, but you should be an active person. Age is not a factor. We’ve had cyclists in their sixties and seventies as well as youngsters as young as 14 years old. If you’re really fit and want a good workout, you’re in luck. We’ve developed a multi-day mountain biking route that starts just past the Sarasin Bridge and goes all the way to Takua Pa. This is just over 150 kilometers in length.

You have the option of camping in quaint little village temples or of being transferred to a small resort each night. Day trips or multi-day trips are available... go for a mult-day trip if at all possible. It's a great way to experience the laid-back lifestyle that Thailand is famous for. That, and more time equals more fun!

We also offer Duke of Edinburgh Award cycling journeys for international schools.Thailand cycling tours
